STRATEGY

BRIEF

Headspace is the Notational Youth Mental Health Foundation, with over 90 centres located throughout the country. The Knox centre is relatively new, and isn’t widely well known.

Our client wanted a promotional video to help raise awareness for Headspace Knox, as well as some other promotional items. What we made needed to be colourful, friendly, non-discriminatory, and appeal to 12-25 year olds.

SOLUTION

We decided to tackle an animated video. Animation meant that we could have a set colour pallet and style to use across different platforms, which we carried onto a series of posters and flyers.

As a group, we collectively agreed to provide a few tips to viewers on how to keep a positive mind, which included talking to a professional at Headspace. This allowed us to raise awareness of mental health, share some helpful information, and promote the Knox centre. The final animation is friendly and colourful, and tackles a serious issue like mental health in a light-hearted way. Accompanying the video is a series of posters that can be displayed around the centre and in public venues to promote both positive thinking and Headspace Knox. The smaller sized flyers have more information as well as a ‘let’s talk’ logo on the back, with instructions to cut it out and promote the campaign, mental health, and Headspace via social media.
